FCC, NATOA to host DAS Workshop on May 3

The Federal Communications Commission's Wireless Telecommunications Bureau and the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) plan to hold a workshop on Distributed Antenna Solutions and small cells. The workshop takes place from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on May 3 at the FCC headquarters in Washington, D.C. The event will be webcast as well. 

Panel discussions will center around Technical/Engineering and Business Overview; Deployment and Uses; and City Case Studies.


On Wednesday, May 4, the FCC’s WTB will host a companion workshop on Environmental Compliance and Historic Preservation Review Process Required for the Construction of Wireless Communications Facilities. This workshop will include information relevant to the construction of all new communications towers and to the collocation of communications equipment on towers and other structures. 

A list of speakers will be announced at a later date.
